It all began on All Hallow's Eve in 2022 when a fresh California girl, Kelsey walked into the Silver Fox, an infamous dive bar in Pacific Beach.She was dressed as a hipster mermaid (don't ask) and her friends and her made their way to the back of the bar where some guys were playing pool. Armand noticed Kelsey and her friends walk in. Kelsey didn't initially notice Armand, until she started looking around and saw a guy sitting by himself in a neon green and pink tracksuit with a helmet on. Likely as you are thinking now, Kelsey wondered what this person's costume was. So she started up a conversation.His answer still doesn't make much sense, but it got them talking. Soon after Armand takes his helmet off and Kelsey gets a first glimpse of a very (averagely) tall, dark and handsome Armand. A very happy surprise for Kelsey, indeed.Once she saw him, she switched into flirt-mode, which meant: She asked him 20 questions like a firing squad on everything she needed to know: 1. What do you do for work? 2. Are you religious? 3. Where do you stand on politics? 4. Do you travel? 5. (one she found particularly important in CA): Have you ever actually left California? And so on. Armand barely got to ask anything back but he appreciated Kelsey's tenacity, so much so that he asked to walk her home.The following Thursday, Armand took Kelsey to dinner at Madison for a first date. The conversation went so well that by the end of the night, they were sitting on the same side of the table.From there, Kelsey &amp; Armand have been inseparable. 4 years later, they share a home in PB, are remote coworkers, have a doggy care business, love to travel the world, and most importantly, are best friends.Thanks for celebrating our love with us!

Check the distance to Casa dos Penedos (the wedding venue). Note that in Sintra the streets are narrow, often one-ways, and sometimes under construction. It may show a longer drive than it looks like on the map due to this. Also, there is no pressure to stay in Sintra. If you prefer to stay in the city, Lisbon is a 30 minute drive away. If you want a coastal accommodation, look in Cascais. Ubers are very easy to find + there is public transportation.

Winery Welcome Event

Wine Country Chic: relaxed yet polished looks that blend comfort with elegance. For women, think dresses, skirts, or elegant separates; for men, chinos or dress pants with a button-down or blazer. Try not to wear white :).

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Formal: Formal attire is kindly requested. Gentlemen are invited to wear suits with a tie or tuxes; ladies may consider floor-length, midi gowns, or sophisticated cocktail dresses. Colors are warmly welcomed. Don't wear white :). **Important note**: The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside in a historic garden. Note that guests will need to make their way down and up historic (uneven/steep) garden steps to get to and from the ceremony area. This is a small part of the event but something to keep in mind when considering footwear or bringing extra footwear. Guests with accessibility concerns can watch the ceremony from the reception area.

Beach Bar Hang

Beach day vibes: Bathing suits, coverups, flip flops, sun hats (and sunscreen)! Whatever you feel comfortable in lounging at a beach bar.
